Pendants

Men, women and children wore pendants in the Viking Age. For some of my pieces I have simply copied the original finds. Others I have specially modelled from other finds, such as swords or brooches; or else I have been inspired to  make my own designs in the viking tradition.

The symbolic use of some of the pieces, such as the Thorshammer, is obvious. But with many of the pendants, the possible meanings are too speculative for short explanations. I leave that up to individual feelings and opinion. Though one thing is certain; in one way or another, the power of these ancient symbols can still touch us today.
