F34 Borre Style Belt Set

Mid 9th - 10th century. The buckle is a Gotlandic type with two animal heads.
Buckle and slider copied from finds from Smolenskaja, Russia, strap end from Birka, Sweden.
Takes strap 19 mm, 3/4" wide.

Belt stud in silver based on Borre style bridle mounts, 9th - 10th century. Solid, central integral rivet.

Copy of belt set from Juelsminde in Denmark, Borre style, 9th – 10th century.
Unusually large, recovered froma hoard of Frankish plunder.
The strap end is 2 sided, with an unusual spiral pattern on the reverse.
Strap end length 78mm, 3”.
Takes strap 29mm, 1 1/8” wide.

Diameter 30mm, 1 1/8”.
